Maty Fall Diba, an emerging Senagalese-Italian model, has had an impressive start to her fashion career since submitting her photos to IMG Models and getting signed ‘immediately’ last year.

The first year of Diba’s life as a model has taken her from the front cover of Vogue Italia in February to walking in 37 shows during the most recent Spring/Summer season, overcoming both her status as a newcomer and restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic to be named ‘the most prolific model of the season’ by British Vogue. Most memorably, the 19-year-old closed the Dior Cruise 2021 show while walking for the brand for the first time, describing the experience as ‘amazing’.
